Major League Soccer Teams Up With Sorare

Today, we are proud to welcome Major League Soccer (MLS) to Sorare for multiple seasons.

As Major League Soccer heads into its 27th season, it now stands with 28 strong clubs throughout the United States and Canada. It is currently one of the fastest-growing sports leagues in North America with the fanbase expanding rapidly ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

What does it mean for Sorare and its community?
Sorare Managers have been able to collect and play with Major League Soccer cards since June 2020 due to our agreement with the MLS Players Association (MLSPA) but starting with the 2022 season, Managers will be able to see the full kits and jerseys. Later this month, we will be launching the 2022 MLS cards with the full rights thanks to the support of the players, the league and its 28 clubs.

This is important for Sorare as we develop our brand presence in the United States and we’re thrilled to have such an exciting partner as our first league partnership in the US.

Chris Schlosser, Major League Soccer’s SVP of Emerging Ventures shared: “We’re excited to continue our progressive approach to bring NFTs to MLS with industry-leader Sorare. Utilizing the latest technology to provide fans the opportunity to add MLS players and future stars to their personal collections and give them an interactive free-to-play fantasy soccer game made Sorare the obvious choice.”
