Following a wave of uncertainty brought on by the collapse of the Terra Protocol, highly-anticipated virtual horse racing romp, Derby Stars, will migrate its operations over to the Polygon network.
To tackle the recent downfall of its partnered blockchain, Derby Stars will move development over to the experienced network, choosing Polygon over a wide range of chains courting its attention due to its proven track record in the play-to-earn field.
Going forward, Polygon will commence this new partnership by migrating Derby Stars NFTs, before continuing with its meticulously planned token generation event aimed at powering the in-game economy. It will then round off the transition by heading into its long-awaited alpha release.

Derby Stars has long since been one of the most celebrated games preparing to launch on the Terra network, previously raising an impressive $6 million in seed funding and conducting a hugely successful NFT sale. This was of course, all before Terra’s recent implosion sent development off track.
Now, back in the game with its new partnership, Derby Stars can prepare itself to wow gamers with its highly polished graphics in a potentially highly rewarding horse racing environment, while also receiving the additional backing of Polygon Studios, providing tech, PR and marketing support to help them on their way.
