NFT-powered, play-and-earn game, Kryptomon Game officially releases stage 1 . This early-stage game allows users to hatch, train, breed, and trade their NFTs, as well as participate in Metaverse-based treasure hunts. Interestingly, the Kryptomon team also send out a comic every month filled with the game’s lore.
What Kind of Game is Kryptomon?
Basically, Kryptomon is an NFT play-to-earn blockchain game that combines Pokémon, Tamagotchi, and CryptoKitties. What’s more, Kryptomon is also a “Play to Earn” (P2E) game. Basically, players can earn money in-game, either in the form of their own token, $KMON, or NFTs.
The History of Kryptomon
Actually, this official game launch follows two successful NFT egg sales on Binance NFT Marketplace.
The initial sale in November 2021 saw a complete sell-out of 2,000 NFT eggs in less than one second. Accordingly, they generated an impressive $180,000 in sales. Actually, this makes it one of the fastest sales in Binance NFT’s history. Next, their second egg sale – held on February 8 2022 – generated an even larger sum of $237,500. With another 2,500 NFT egg sales under their belt, this was yet another record for the Kryptomon team.
How to Play KryptoMon’s Stage 1 Game
As part of the Stage 1 release campaign, players will receive daily loot boxes containing consumables. These consumables include food, bandages and Kryptomon training cards. As a basic rule, the more Kryptomons a user collects, the more loot boxes the user receives.
Furthermore, players can use the consumables to feed and train their Kryptomon. This will benefit players in Stage 2 when a full-fledged combat system is released. If trainers fail to care for their Kryptomon, the creatures will freeze and players will have to pay a fee to unfreeze them.
The Kryptomon NFT Marketplace and Using $KMON
Since its recent launch, players can now breed their Kryptomon NFTs. Furthermore, owners can also sell the new NFT eggs which they produce on any of Kryptomon’s NFT marketplace partners. There are 7 NFT marketplaces to choose from in total, including Kryptomon’s official KMarket marketplace.
Kryptomon’s marketplace allows Kryptomon NFT trading, purchases, and $KMON token staking to participate in NFT lotteries and generate “candies,” which are used as in-game currency to buy loot boxes and items.
