Although Axie Infinity’s highly anticipated ‘Origin’ remains in its ‘Early Access’ testing phase, the project is one step closer to its full global release through its recent launch on Android mobile devices. Along with the landmark launch came an array of updates, additions, improvements, and bug fixes to the game.
The recent flurry of updates imposed onto the incomplete mobile game includes upgrades on 16 elements of the player interface, Bloodmoon now starting during round 15, simultaneously activated status and rune effects, and the addition of a ‘Full HD Graphic’ option in the Settings tab.
In addition, a few improvements and bug fixes have also taken place, such as reductions in the volume of the sound which signals the start of a match, and the disallowing for Scry to be canceled, a bug which allowed players to look at their next drawn cards without spending energy.
As Sky Mavis continues preparing the game for its full capacity launch, which will include token rewards, crafting NFT runes/charms, and the first Origin leaderboard season with AXS prizes, more expansive roll outs, additional features, and updates will be incrementally observed, where ultimately, the feedback it receives from these implementations and ideas will dictate the timing of the full global launch.
