Fans of MixMob, a fashion, art, and music-centred metaverse game, are in for a treat as it has just released the alpha version of its MixMob: Racer 1 game. This alpha version, released on September 20, 2022, allows players to invite their friends to participate without them needing to already own a MixMob NFT.
This means that Gen0 Mask Holders can now invite others into the game and earn rewards for doing so.
Friends in the MixMob Metaverse
MixMob is centred around the recreation of a digital world that has been wiped out by an A.I. This is done through its players participating in all sorts of games, from a Card Battle Racing Game to a full MMO. And now, friends of those already in the metaverse can experience this as well.
This alpha release, named Alpha V2, comes months after Alpha V1 was released in April 2022, with positive feedback from the community. While V1 was player-vs-environment only, this new version offers player-vs-player, so more community engagement can be fostered.
Every week, a leaderboard will be updated with the top 25 players in both the PVP and PVE modes, with prizes to be won for top players. There will be even higher stakes when the weekly PVP tournaments begin, with up to 75 $SOL in rewards up for grabs.
There is also the option of multiplayer mode, which automatically links players to others who are online. They can also choose where they will be playing, as MixMob: Racer 1 offers different environments for players to choose from. MixMob’s card deck has also been given an upgrade, with new cards added, 3D projectiles, speed boosts, and so on.
