■ Please tell us about Dalgomz.
Hi! My name is Yong-Min Park, and I am CEO of the Dalgomz project. Our project focuses on promoting tourism in the Seorak region of Gangwondo, South Korea, by using blockchain technology to create a tourism benefit membership program. Dalgomz NFT holders can receive real-life benefits when they travel to various locations within South Korea, starting with Seorak region. We are excited to offer our users a unique metaverse experience in partnership with The Sandbox.

■ Tell us more about your company, and how you discovered The Sandbox?
The Dalgomz NFT project is a community dedicated to “Dalgomz,” which symbolizes Asiatic Black Bears that have visited from Seorak Mountain to the human world. Through partnerships with local governments and Web 2 companies, we prioritize expanding membership benefits for our community members. Our project is designed by and for “Dalgomz” holders, and we leverage Web 2’s resources to offer both metaverse playgrounds and real-life benefits to our members. Additionally, we serve as a bridge between the worlds of Web 2 and Web 3 by collaborating with local NFT projects.

During our collaboration with official builders for The Sandbox, we became familiar with the platform. We also produced a video in partnership with GBF META and Meta Toy Dragonz, which is now being screened on 36 cabins of the “Sokcho Eye” in Sokcho, as well as the large electric board in the area. We’re thrilled to have had this opportunity to showcase our project and engage with the local community in this way.

■ What are you planning to build on your LAND? What kinds of experiences can we look forward to?
The Dalgomz Project offers a robust tourism membership program centered around the Seorak region. Our platform provides a unique opportunity to explore various tourist destinations in the area. You can indirectly discover local landmarks and businesses of Web 2 companies here. We aim to enhance your overall satisfaction by providing a preview of the destination, allowing you to have a different experience before actually visiting. The Dalgomz LAND offers this preview experience, making your trip planning smoother and more enjoyable.

■ How the content will be shared with your community? Would there be a special way to participate in the content on The Sandbox?

Dalgomz NFT holders have the opportunity to explore virtual LANDs with their own PFP voxelized avatars, as well as visit various online and offline tourist destinations.

■ How do you hope to see your neighborhood (both your LAND and its surroundings) evolve in the future?
The Dalgomz project has already created NFTs with tourism membership features based on the Seorak region, but we’re now planning to expand our offerings nationwide. Although our LAND currently focuses on the Seorak region, our goal is to transform it into a popular tour spot across the country. We aim for the Dalgomz project to be the foundation for creating exciting tour spots and event spaces in the metaverse. With our continued efforts, we hope to provide visitors with unique and unforgettable experiences that highlight the best of Korea.

■ What do you think is the most exciting aspect of this LAND sale?
As people have more leisure time and disposable income, the demand for travel and tourism has significantly increased. Our project aims to offer the best tourism membership utility NFT in South Korea by providing opportunities to experience the Dalgomz project across both Web 2 and Web 3 platforms. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with The Sandbox to bring the Dalgomz NFT project to the metaverse, enabling visitors to immerse themselves in a unique virtual experience. We’re excited about this collaboration and look forward to providing a one-of-a-kind travel experience.
