RadicalxChange is a movement that seeks to rethink economic and political systems for the digital age. They believe that current technologies driven by capitalism exacerbate inequality. RadicalxChange proposes new methods of cooperation and collective decision-making. They use research and development to create new tools such as quadratic voting, common ownership, and large-scale citizen participation
How Do I Participate?
You must create a game with our free, no-code Game Maker software.
But first, you need to register!

Please keep an eye on your email throughout the Game Jam — we will check in with you weekly with AMAs, workshops, resources, and more!

Please note that you must always use the version of the Game Maker which is available for download on Kick-Off day!
In the event that a new version is released during the Game Jam submission phase, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR GAME!
Your entries will be judged using the same version that was available during kick-off, and updating your game may cause it not to function properly during voting, which will negatively affect your score.

You stand a chance at a share of the 50,000 SAND, 20 LANDs and exclusive CATALYST Packs prize pool! SAND is The Sandbox’s native token, which can be used to purchase various items in our ecosystem such as ASSETs and LAND!
Additionally, the first 100 valid entries are rewarded a participation prize of 100 SAND each for a total of up to 10,000 SAND (conditions apply)!

- Form your team consisting of 1–4 people.
- Register for the Game Jam.
- Stay ready for the Game Jam Kick-Off and remember to check your emails!

- Plan and build your game with our Production Guide!
- Share your completed game to the Game Maker Gallery. We will email you with further instructions.
- Submit your entry to the submission form which will be emailed to you.

Important rules ⚠️
Please make sure that you read all the rules HERE!
It is very important that you do that to ensure that your submission is valid and follows our rules and guidelines.
Please note that, if a rule stated in this Game Jam, differs from one stated in our official documentation, the rule stated for this Game Jam takes precedence.
Some key rules to keep in mind includes:
- Software: Your game must be designed in our Game Maker software using the same Game Maker version that was available on kick-off day.
- Creation Date: Your game must be created on or after the kick-off date of this Game Jam.
- Size: Your game must be no larger than 1×1.
- Multiple Entries: You may submit more than 1 entry, however, the same team cannot place twice in the Top 10.
- Staff: The Sandbox Staff is not permitted to enter Game Jam competitions.
- KYC/Verification (Top 10): To place in the Top 10, all prize-winning wallets must have completed KYC or they must classify as “Verified Creators”. To qualify as a Verified Creator, you must fulfill one of two conditions:
- Your wallet is linked with a Game Maker Fund account.
- You have participated in 5 Game Jams and/or VoxEdit contests and placed in the Top 10 at least once.
Please note that you only need to meet one of these requirements to qualify.
Rules & Conditions — Prizes & Rewards
Please note that the following conditions apply in order to receive participation rewards:
- You must submit a valid entry to the Submission Form sent to you by email, following all of our rules.
- The entry may also not be marked as a “spam” entry serving the sole purpose of receiving a participation reward. Such entries are disqualified at the discretion of The Sandbox team.
- Entries that place in the Top 10 or is picked as an Honorable Mention do not get participation reward in addition to their other prizes.
- If you submit more than one entry, you will only receive participation rewards for one.
- You must submit a valid experience to the Publishing Form which will be sent to you via email during the Game Jam.
Please note that the following conditions apply in order to receive SAND, LAND, CATALYSTs, and any other prizes that may be stated for placing the Top 10 and Honorable Mentions:
- You must fulfill the KYC/Verification rules stated above.
- If the same creator or team submits more than one entry and 2 or more of their experiences rank in the Top 10, the one with the highest score will maintain its rank. The other entry may be picked as an Honorable Mention.
- You must submit your experience(s) to the Publishing Form which will be sent to you via email during the Game Jam.

Judges & Voting
Voting consists of two phases and is done primarily by The Sandbox staff in collaboration with The Council and three Trusted Partner Judges.
Game Jams done in collaboration with The Sandbox’s partners may also include partner judges who will vote in phase 2.
Games are judged based on five categories, amounting to a maximum of 22 points per judge.
