Pixels Launches Halloween Event and Binance-Themed Rewards

Popular social crafting and farming game Pixels recently introduced Chapter 2.5 featuring a revamped Reputation system, new quests, and unique events to mark Halloween and Binance Blockchain Week.

Players can participate in limited-time events to earn exclusive Halloween costumes through a mini-game and Binance-themed items by completing specific quests.

Running through early November, these events aim to offer more dynamic interactions and enhanced engagement with Pixels’ evolving ecosystem.

Limited Edition Halloween Costumes

For the Halloween season, Pixels has introduced “Denis the Dentist’s Haunted Harvest,” where players can earn event-specific currency—teeth—by playing the “Maul a Skaul” mini-game.

Players gain points by hitting Skauls (colored skeleton heads), with varying rewards based on the Skaul color. Red Skauls should be avoided, whilst other colors offer more points. After each round, teeth can be exchanged for supplies to craft Ump-O-Lanterns, which players smash to unlock limited-edition Halloween costumes.

The Halloween event will be available until October 31, and the map can be accessed from the East Exit of Terra Villa.

Binance Blockchain Week Brings Themed Rewards

Pixels has partnered with Binance for Binance Blockchain Week, running through November 4. Players can enter the online event via the Terra Villa portal or at pixels.xyz/binance to explore the Binance Stadium.

By completing quests and interacting with NPCs, players can collect PixTix, which can be exchanged for Binance-themed rewards such as the Binance Trophy, Binance Blanket, or Binance Coinhead.

Completing the event quest also enters players into a raffle to win NFT Land.

Key Updates in Pixels Chapter 2.5

Pixels Chapter 2.5 has introduced adjustments to enhance gameplay balance. The game now includes skill-based task segmentation, limiting players to a maximum of 40 tasks per skill type to maintain consistent difficulty. A revamped Reputation system now tracks both on- and off-chain activity, with higher Reputation reducing marketplace fees.

Updates to planting rules now restrict specific crops and flowers to designated land types, and energy items like Berry Blast are restricted from trading on the marketplace to prevent economic imbalances. Wine Energy has been adjusted by replacing the Terra Villa Winery with a Basic Winery, limiting crafted items whilst introducing a VIP status for players who hold land for at least seven days, which grants perks like VIP tasks, fee discounts, and bonus inventory space.

With these events and updates, Pixels Chapter 2.5 signals a shift toward regular updates and community-driven improvements.
