What is DOGAMÍ?

DOGAMÍ is the first mass-market NFT play-to-earn AR mobile game. The main premise of the game is to adopt and raise a 3D dog and earn $DOGA in the Petaverse.

It was co-founded in mid-2021 by Max Stoeckl (CEO, previously BCG); Bilal El Alamy (chief technology officer, blockchain serial entrepreneur); Adrien Magdelaine (chief operating officer, previously Wamiz, pet industry serial entrepreneur) and Kristofer D. Penseyres (chief business officer, previously Sony Pictures, branding & partnership expert).

An overview of the DOGAMÍ Petaverse

DOGAMÍ’s Petaverse initiative enables users and their virtual pets to live together and explore the metaverse together. The blockchain game offers a different approach to play-to-earn mechanics, as each user has a virtual companion to grow with.

The DOGAMÍ project covers over 300 breeds of dogs, each of which has unique characteristics. Its NFTs come in four tiers, which are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond. What’s more – NFT holders can interact with their Dogamí through augmented reality via the DOGAMÍ mobile application.

The DOGAMÍ NFT enables Dogamers to make full use of the Petaverse. Moreover, they can train, customize, build traits and compete in challenges. These challenges are important, as well-ranked users will earn more $DOGA tokens. A beta version of the play-to-earn game will launch in Q2 2022. In addition, DOGAMÍ will gain DeFi features – farming and staking – to broaden its horizons.

An overwhelming interest in the Petaverse

The DOGAMÍ project attracted the attention of NFT and blockchain enthusiasts from around the world. Its community has grown to over 80,000 members worldwide, with 28% of members creating a Discord account for the sole purpose of accessing DOGAMÍ. In addition, the popular Objkt collection Doga Bones will be used within the DOGAMÍ Petaverse.

DOGAM has also attracted high-profile investors. In fact, at the end of 2021, it secured $6 million in funding, with investors including Ubisoft, Animoca Brands and co-founders of The Sandbox.

Interested individuals can access the DOGAMÍ Petaverse by minting one of the 8,000 non-fungible tokens in this collection. The price per NFT is 50 XTZ, and access to today’s private sale is granted to all the OG Dogamers.
