Epic Games’ NFT-Driven Title ‘Open Season’ to Focus on Doge

Open Season Doge

Fractional Uprising Studios’ ‘Open Season’—an OG NFT-infused battle royale, currently in its Alpha phase on Epic Games—has exciting news: a Doge-themed biome slated for release next month.

The studio’s latest X announcement reveals the addition of Doge NFTs to its gaming ecosystem, which currently features leading NFTs like Bored Ape and Milady, among others.

Teaming up with the ‘Own the Doge’ NFT community, celebrated for arranging Shiba Inu’s 18th birthday, Open Season strives to build a space whereby every in-game aspect echoes the legendary Kabosu.

“Open Season is first and foremost about fun, so partnering with the hilarious and talented Own The Doge team was a no-brainer,” comments Fractional Uprising Studios co-founder Spooby (blog post).

“We’re already cooking on the design, and I can’t wait to get people playing in it.”

Open Season’s Meme-Enhanced Domain

Powered by Epic Games’ Unreal Engine, the custom Doge biome, inspired by Tokyo’s urban landscape and the whimsical charm of Doge lore, will offer players an exciting blend of cultural elements.

Imagine Godzilla facing off against MegaDoge, a colossal Shiba Inu, in a compact Japanese cityscape. This fusion of cultural references promises to captivate players and celebrate Doge’s enduring legacy.

Open Season’s expansion seamlessly merges internet culture with the crypto-verse. Notably, the game already features a Pepe-themed amusement park to push the boundaries of entertainment.

For NFT lovers, Fractional Uprising Studios/Open Season also has a noteworthy whitelist initiative for Milady, Bored Ape, Redacted Remilio Babies, Based Ghouls, and Retrodoges holders, enabling upgrades for community benefits.
